The summer internship program is comprised of a 12 week session during your summer break. This position is in Oklahoma City at our Ecommerce Corporate Offices. Remote work is not available. Each student intern will work with seasoned mentors from the Hobby Lobby Ecommerce Visual Merchandising staff to process both technical and creative copy for the Hobby Lobby website. Interns will be scheduled to work approximately 32 hours per week (8:30 am to 5 pm), with every Friday off. This program offers students an opportunity to gain real world knowledge and experience in working in a fast-paced ecommerce environment. Students will receive guidance on writing SEO rich copy and creating customer-focused web content, with the goal of increasing click-through and conversion rates on the page. This is a paid internship and is offered at a competitive rate of $18.50 per hour. Responsibilities The selected intern will be responsible for writing product descriptions for the Hobby Lobby website and assisting in other website processes including, but not limited to, gathering product specifications, performing keyword research, and writing long-form SEO content.
