Job Title - CyberSecurity Architect/Manager/Consultant

Location - Remote or Salinas CA (initial 2-3 weeks onsite)

Length - 9 Months (Contract)

• The manager is looking for someone that can hit the ground running. This is not an entry level position and should last 6-9 months. The manager is looking for CISSP (certified information system security professional) or some evidence of strong, foundational knowledge in systems security, NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) cybersecurity framework, Windows systems and software, Checkpoint firewalls, Proofpoint email filtering, end-point detection/remediation, and vulnerability management tools.
• Under the general direction of the Systems Security Manager, the Systems Security Architect s duties include the design, architecture, implementation, and support of the hospital s systems security infrastructure for the SVMHS network and information systems environment.

Remote worker is an option- Client will issue the laptop/monitors and peripherals. However, onsite is preferred (especially the first 2-3 weeks).

*Monday Friday, 8 4:30 p.m. presuming 30 minute meal period. CISSP required. (may be willing to forgo the CISSP requirement)

*Experience:

Demonstrated experience in the deployment and management of IT Security technologies such as firewall, VPN, IDS, remote access, authentication, and WiFi. Prior experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

In-depth experience in the following practice areas:

a) Technical Security Risk Assessment Methodology

b) Intrusion Analysis

c) Incident Response Methodology

d) Network Design

e) Working knowledge of project management functions
