Position Overview:

As an Assistant Director at Huntington Learning Center in North Dallas, you will be pivotal in ensuring the center's success. Your role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, and fostering a positive learning atmosphere for our students. Responsibilities:

  • Hiring activities: Hire, train, manage, and evaluate part-time staff, including part-time teachers. Conduct teacher meetings and ongoing trainings.
  • Financial activities: Collect and deposit payments and tuition. Manage payroll, including maintenance of daily time sheets and calculation and submission of payroll hours. Minimize teacher and clerical payroll cost by optimizing student-teacher ratios.
  • Perform administrative activities: Maintain appointment book and communication channels (phone, text, and email). Maintain center appearance and supply inventory. Oversee student and teacher scheduling on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Educational administrative activities: Administer and grade initial and interim tests. Prepare initial conference binders. Conduct initial inquiries and consultations. Schedule and conduct monthly interim conferences with students. Teach 10-15 hours per week.
  • Marketing activities: Support social media activity by posting organic content to the center Facebook and Instagram pages.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required .
  • Previous experience in education, tutoring, or a related field.
  • Comfort with technology, including all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
