Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is looking for a reliable candidate for a CNC Machine Operator/Grinder position with a company in Erie, PA. This is a 1st shift position with a starting pay rate of $16/hr. Definitely could be more with experience.



CNC Machine Operator/Grinder--Lab


Shift: 1st: 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday or 8am-5pm Monday through Friday

Pay Rate: $16/hr starting pay rate for entry level candidate. Pay is based on experience

Job Summary

As a CNC Machinist, you will operate CNC machinery to manufacture precision parts. You'll be expected to read blueprints, perform basic set-ups, and inspect parts using precision measuring tools. You'll also have opportunities to advance your skillset in programming, metrology, or leadership, depending on your goals.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate CNC machines to manufacture parts to specification
• Read and interpret blueprints and part drawings
• Perform basic machine set-ups and tool changes
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and depth gages
• Record and document inspection results to ensure quality and traceability
• Adjust machining parameters based on inspection results to maintain tolerances

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 1 year of CNC machining experience
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and precision measuring tools
• Willingness to learn and grow within a structured team environment
• High attention to detail and quality
