Nestled in the heart of Paso Robles, CA, Hotel Ava is an upscale, boutique property under Hilton's prestigious Curio Collection. Opening in Spring 2025, our hotel blends modern luxury with local charm, offering guests an unforgettable stay through exceptional service, exquisite amenities, and unique experiences. We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our pre-opening sales efforts and drive our post-opening success.
Position Overview :
As the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be at the helm of our hotel's revenue generation and brand positioning strategy. You will develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing plan, driving occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and market share. Your leadership will be pivotal in establishing Hotel Ava as the premier destination for travelers seeking an authentic, luxurious experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Pre-Opening Sales Strategy:
- Develop and implement a robust pre-opening sales and marketing plan to build awareness and anticipation.
- Establish relationships with key corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners.
- Oversee the creation of all pre-opening marketing materials, including digital content, brochures, and press releases.
- Coordinate with the construction and operations teams to ensure timely completion and readiness for opening.
Sales Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team.
- Identify and secure key business from corporate, leisure, and group segments.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to adapt strategies accordingly.
Marketing & Brand Management:
- Collaborate with AZUL's corporate marketing team to craft and execute innovative marketing campaigns that highlight Hotel Ava's unique features and offerings.
- Collaborate with Hilton's corporate marketing team to align local efforts with global brand standards.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media, SEO, and email campaigns.
- Manage public relations activities to generate media coverage and enhance brand visibility.
Revenue Management:
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
- Work closely with the revenue management team to forecast demand and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field, preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry, preferably within a luxury or boutique hotel.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and strategies.
- Knowledge of Hilton systems and standards is a plus.
