Job Description
Installs doors and windows, (commercial and residential) in buildings, exterior and interior walls, by performing the following duties.
Installs commercial and residential doors and windows per manufacturers instructions.
Bolts metal hinges, handles, locks, and other hardware to prefabricated glass doors and or structures per manufacturers instructions.
Installs/ Glazes pre-cut glass in doors and windows. Installs sealants as required/needed for windows and doors.
Surveys job sites, estimates materials and labor cost and orders materials. Applies moisture proofing compounds as needed/required.
Cuts concrete as necessary for track install, installs metal window and door frames.
Demolition of area around doors and windows when required. Installation of exterior trim.
Paint and touch up as needed.
Adheres to all job site and LTSE safety regulations as required by commercial or residential builder.
Formal/Certified training may be required.
Orders/purchases supplies as needed
Day and overnight travel required.
Confers and communicates with client's as needed. Must perform duties in a conscientious manner.
Must have a valid (unrestricted) driver's license. Must be able to drive a company vehicle.
