Job Title: Driver Helper
Job Description

Join one of the largest employee-owned lumber yards in the country, working in the Trim and Door department. Your role will involve loading and unloading trucks, carrying doors and shelving units weighing up to 75 lbs, and stocking the warehouse. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for pulling and bunking material, loading delivery trucks, unloading, and stocking inventory.

Responsibilities

• Build loads for deliveries.
• Load and unload building materials.
• Assist customers with material needs.
• Operate a forklift, with training provided.

Essential Skills

• General labor experience in construction, warehouse production, and material handling.
• At least 1 year of warehouse/loading/unloading experience.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds consistently.
• Familiarity with basic construction material.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Pass the tape measure/metric measure test.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with truck loading and accurate material handling.

Work Environment

Work in a very clean environment that is both indoors and on the docks outside. This is not a climate-controlled environment, so candidates must be comfortable working in varying conditions. The shift is from 7am-5pm Monday to Friday and 7am-1pm on Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
