This role t ransforms footage into a final product for broadcasting, utilizing computer technology and software including video mix with footage, music, sound effects, audio, and special effects. Responsible for the majority of post-production activities and providing support for other broadcast/media related events.

The ideal candidate has a strong Christian faith and will enjoy playing a vital role in supporting our global Christian ministry which is dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel to the Jew first, growing the Messianic movement, and engaging the Church concerning Israel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Edit film, video or other media as assigned and instructed by management.
• Make creative decisions during editing process, including cutting down interviews, sourcing and adding b-roll for guest and field segments, and creating visually compelling content.
• With direction from Executive Producer and/or Supervising Producer, manage the creation of new templates for television and digital to result in having multiple versions of routinely used video elements (like offers, opens, promos, and web elements) easily accessible and ready to use.
• Act as the creative design leader for syndicated show offers, to include layout of the look, sound and tone of offers, and production process; able to train others in the department to do the same.
• Run videos in control room during live broadcasts and/or tapings and help out on stage and/or in control room as needed.
• Create and upload web files for internet video streaming.
• Assist in coordinating editing assignments to ensure deadlines are met with first priority always being the show delivery.
• Utilize alternative equipment and configurations to obtain specialized effects for picture and sound.
• Actively support, research, and troubleshoot problem areas within post-production process.
• Provide guidance, direction, and technical support to fellow editors, production staff, engineering staff and other departments as needed.
• Provide floor direction for webcast events or other broadcast/taping/live events as needed.
• Recommend and implement process improvement (e.g. streamline, add automation, eliminate redundancies, reduce costs, number hand-offs between roles, etc.) and incorporate into SOP revisions.
