A growing CPA firm in Baltimore County, MD seeks an ambitious accounting professional who is open to an entry level tax role

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues and assist in the preparation of tax preparation
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities
• Identify, research and assess various tax issues while also providing information to the Tax Manager
• Collaboratively work with client team members while building rapport and strong client relationships
• Develop, analyze and present strategic tax plans to clients

Education/Experience:

• Recent graduate with strong internship experience in tax and accounting with desire to obtain CPA will be strongly considered
• No degree but Enrolled Agent or Enrolled Agent Candidate with 1 or more passed parts will be strongly considered
• 1+ years of tax accounting experience; experience in individual, estate or trust returns and business returns a plus
