Role Overview

Event management is essential to Signals marketing strategy to grow our brand in the Demand Generation marketplace. We are looking for an experienced Event Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing our events and promoting Signals platform. The Event Marketing Coordinator will organize and plan our events to ensure they are effective and meet the organization’s goals. This includes speaker recruitment, onboarding, creating event pages, promoting, and coordinating all aspects of the events. We are looking for an experienced, creative, results-oriented event marketing to join our team!

The Event Marketing Coordinator will own event strategy and execution — creating, delivering, and optimizing event programs that align with our integrated campaigns and generate new business. This role will provide excellent digital and in-person experiences for our user and prospect audiences across all customer segments.

Location: This is an in-office role, but all events will be held virtually.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create an event marketing strategy including goals, objectives, and target audiences using virtual events from concept through completion:
  • Identify opportunities, including sponsorships; define strategy and goals; assemble project teams; manage vendors; source diverse speakers and audiences; create run-books; incorporate data-driven insights and measure results
  • Work in close partnership with Demand Generation, Design, and Product Marketing, to develop top-notch events
  • In close partnership with Sales teams, develop and expand the scope of the events program to drive new leads, nurture existing ones, and grow our reach
  • Develop new event ideas, concepts, processes, and formats, ensuring consistency and creativity throughout all event touchpoints
  • Refine and document the workings of our events program alongside the team, helping us scale the program
  • Communicating with clients to address concerns or answer questions about an event’s progress
  • Researching trends in event planning to develop new ideas for future events

What you need to thrive

  • Reside within commuting distance to our office in Provo, Utah
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Quick learner with a knack for grasping new technology and features.
  • Experience working in digital event environments, with in-depth knowledge incorporating event experiences into the buyer's journey to generate demand
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales teams to develop strategies and track metrics for events
  • Strong working knowledge of tech conferences and the sales landscape in the tech industry
  • Solid understanding of lead management and sales funnel management
  • Experience developing, editing, and evolving content for speakers at the events
  • A passion for transforming brand principles into real-life experiences
