Film Producer/ Screenwriter Looking to Collab Seeking Screenwriter, Producer and Script Consultant Hi everyone! I am Will, an aspiring film producer and screenwriter based in Virginia. I am looking to grow my portfolio and network with other filmmakers. I have written short films, acted as director and cinematographer, and worked as a freelance production assistant for the ABC Network in the past on a few projects. I also interned at the Cannes Film Festival during my undergraduate college years (back in 2010). I got my master's degree in film producing in 2020. I would love to help someone on their projects or collaborate and write new film scripts or assist with marketing, casting, etc. Currently, I am in the early process of writing two scripts for films and could use some help. This is a feature film idea that I have which is a superhero movie. The premise is about a young African American man named Xaiver who gains powers and becomes a superhero during the height of the Civil Rights movement. The story would be an alternate take with the character interacting with real-life historical figures as he discovers government secrets and more. The other is a short film titled 'Bullied.' This is a drama/thriller that tackles the impacts of bullying on high school and college-aged people. The story follows a popular college student who ends up in a groundhog day time loop trying to prevent his former friend from committing a terrible crime.
