VCA Far Country Animal Hospital in Palmer, Alaska is seeking an experienced Hospital Assistant to join our team. We are a small animal, AAHA accredited general practice in the beautiful Matanuska Valley. . Our team values empathy, humor, work-life balance, compassionate patient care, integrity. Applicants must have exceptional communication and technical skills. The successful candidate will be a believer in high-quality veterinary medicine and compassionate patient care. Familiarity with AAHA requirements and Fear Free Certification are a bonus. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Cleaning cages. - Feeding and caring for dogs and cats. - Walking dogs. . - Doing laundry. - Cleaning and maintaining hospital premises. - Assisting Doctors and Technicians when necessary.
