POSITION SUMMARY:

Ensure the highest level of resident and guest satisfaction by offering prompt, professional, courteous, and dedicated services. Actively contribute to the department in order to complete tasks, meet goals, or manage projects. Overall, this position is responsible for and dedicated to providing recognition, satisfaction, and value to the residents and their guests, while continuously improving efficiency, accuracy, productivity, and service standards.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and utility cloths to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure all laundered items are clean, stain-free, and in good condition.
• Deliver clean linens, towels, and other items to designated areas in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient laundry workspace at all times.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, reporting any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate department.
• Monitor and manage inventory of laundry supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma OR equivalent
• Previous Experience in laundry preferred

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a warm, humid environment typical of laundry facilities.
• Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
