Enterprise Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Client Accounting Coordinator to join a prominent law firm in the DC area. This position has a hybrid in-office-remote working schedule. The Senior Client Accounting Coordinator provides client accounting analysis and billing support to partners, prepares bills and follows up on all matters of billing and collection.

• Prepares accurate and timely complex client bills including actions related to the preparation of billable descriptions, write offs, transfers, and on account applications.
• Reviews information for client/matters which partners are responsible for billing and collecting
• Ensures timely follow up of all attorney requests by documenting such requests and seeking direction, as needed.
• Prepares internal forms for account receivable write-offs, transfers to non-billable, etc.).
• Monitors billing system to confirm the status of pending billing matters (e.g. write offs, transfers to non-billable and specialty rates) and updates logs as appropriate.
• Promptly responds to all inquiries for information made by attorneys, legal assistants, and staff.
• Maintains complete and up-to-date billing documentation.
• Maintains an accurate set of billing instructions for assigned partners.
• Communicates actions and points of concern to supervisors.
• Assists department staff with questions concerning preparation of bills, charts, reports.
• Completes billing and client analysis projects, as assigned (e.g., charts, reports, etc.)
• Effectively communicates with other team members on efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel) with the ability to learn new software and operating systems
• Ability to use discretion and exercise independent and sound judgment
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills
• Demonstrates close attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
• Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of five years directly related experience including three years in a law firm or professional services environment.
