Medical Courier - Pittsburgh PA Contract Opportunity

Contractor Sought
Associated Couriers is looking for dependable and professional independent contractor couriers for one, or all, of the following:

• Routed Deliveries - Varying routes that normally have a set recurring schedule to them. **NOTE: routes may change unexpectedly based on customer needs
• STAT/On-Demand -  Last-minute pickups and orders dispatched from a route manager or customer 
• Backup/Standby -  Fill-in for route voids

Services Sought
For this contract, you will be picking up and delivering pharmacy medications and medical supplies.

 

Coverage Sought
Reliable independent contractors with availability to run orders:

Option 1: Monday through Friday - 7am through 4pm
Option 2: Thursdays and Fridays (other days as needed) - 4pm through 12am

150-200 miles daily

Contractor Commissions

• Earned in one or more of the following ways: per mile, per route, per stop (plus variable fuel surcharge in some of our markets)
• Paid weekly and must have a bank account to accept direct deposit
• Specific commission details to be discussed in the pre-contracting process

 

Requirements for Contract

• Attentive to detail
• Live within 40 miles to zip code 15231
• Own a reliable and registered SUV, Minivan, Transit Van, or Cargo Van that would be used for this contract (2009 or newer)
• Have and maintain state minimum requirements for bodily injury and property damage as primary auto insurance
• Willing to drive in inclement weather to service our customers
•   MUST have a bank account to accept direct deposit

Our 1099 contracts are offered to interested and qualifying contractors on a first come, first served basis. As such, time is of the essence in completing the pre-contracting process as soon as possible.
