The UPS Store is a leader in our industry with over 5000 locations nationwide making it the largest print and ship retailer in the nation. Located in the West Lake commercial zone at Smith Mountain Lake, locally owned and operated, we're now hiring part time store associates.

We also provide comprehensive on-the-job training to ensure you can operate in the store with confidence and competence

Responsibilities:

-Receive and process packages for shipment.

-Operate equipment such as (on-the-job training will cover these): copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, etc.

-Ability to lift packages up to 40 lbs.

-Assist customers with requests in-store and on the phone.

-Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers.

-Greet customers in a friendly and polite manner

-Keeping store clean, stocked and organized at all times for an efficient and professional workplace.

Qualifications:

-Ability to maintain a professional appearance.

-Exceptional customer service and communication skills are a must.

-Preferred high school diploma/GED.

-Ability to work well on a team.

-Prior customer service experience preferred.

-Flexibility with scheduling.

-Punctuality and accountability when arriving at work.

Job Types: Part Time

• Monday to Sunday
• Weekends are on a rotating schedule

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Work Location: One location in Hardy, VA

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
• Outstanding phone skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible
• Able to lift 40+ pounds
