Job Description

Quality One Transport LLC is contracted with the USPS and is searching for  part-time   Driver (US Mail Delivery Drivers) to deliver mail to mailing centers  out of   Akron and surrounding areas!

Benefits:

• Pay: $31.99/hr
• Paid Vacation and Holidays

Available Schedules:

• Set Schedule, 15 hrs per week
• Monday - Saturday: 4 pm-6 pm
• Additional hours may be available, based on a week-to-week basis
• All employees will be required to fill in and be on schedule for Sunday rotation if needed

Responsibilities:

• Completes timely delivery of mail each day.
• Deliver mail out of Akron and surrounding areas
• Verifies and completes required documentation and reports
• Demonstrates internal and external customer service.
• Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Checks vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, reports issues to the appropriate person.
• Performs vehicle pre and post inspections and completes inspection logs.
• Fills truck with fuel when needed.
• Cleans cab and beds of truck out daily.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Class B CDL license required
• Must have current medical card
• Ability to drive manual transmission (stick shift) required
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Previous driving experience preferred
