An employer is seeking a highly-skilled remote project manager to join one of our largest national healthcare clients. In this role you'll join a growing team and will be accountable for the implementation of new project initiatives impacting Claims Operations across all segments of business and platforms including but not limited to, Employer and Individual, Community and State, Medicare and Retiree. In this role you may collaborate with IT, but it is not an IT Project Manager role, but more of a functional position. In this role you'll also collaborate with Product Owners, Capability Managers and other stakeholders to ensure each project is successfully implemented. While leading an implementation, the Project Manager is responsible for subject matter expertise in areas including project scope, definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation/meeting management, facilitation based on established project management techniques, tools, and division's engagement model. In order to be successful on this team you must have prior experience working within a large enterprise healthcare environment, and have hands on experience working with claims.

Skills and Requirements
- 5 + years of experience in insurance industry and with claims
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Exceptional level of proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail - BA/BS degree or equivalent education or 4+ years business experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely both verbally and in written formats
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
- Self-starter and passionate about meeting timelines
- Strong ability to work independently and take initiative
