Job Description

This full-time Social Worker position supports K-12 students within a school district serving both high school and middle school settings. Located in Pennsylvania, this contract role is available immediately and is expected to continue throughout the school year until a permanent hire is made. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to K-12 students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention plans
• Conduct crisis assessments and offer support for students facing difficult situations
• Connect students and families with community resources and support services
• Maintain accurate and confidential case records in compliance with school policies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance student well-being

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Professional Social Work (SW) license
• Up-to-date Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) clearances
• Experience working with school-age children, preferably across middle and high school levels
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgment
