A Security Supervisor candidate is being sought for a site located in Northeast Atlanta. The position requires the supervision of approximately 7 or more Security Officers in Retail and business tenant environments. The candidate must have the ability to deal calmly with others in stressful situations. Experience in Security Management, law enforcement, or military law enforcement in leadership roles is required. Only resumes submitted through this add will be considered for the position.

The following qualifications/skills/requirements must be met by the candidate selected for this position.

• Ability to form professional and meaningful relationships with Facility Management by meeting customer service expectations.
• Professional appearance, attitude, and Interpersonal communication skills are a must.
• Ability to work outside on foot and vehicle patrol as needed.
• Ability to manage weekly scheduling of Security officers and submitting worked hours for payroll.
• Ability to manage employees through verbal and written counseling and create meaning and purpose in their daily activities.
• Ability to lead fellow officers in a positive and professional manner.
• Ability to train security officers on site specific tasks, site culture, general duties and expectations and validate training results by direct observation.
• Ability to train and validate the competency of security officers to train new persons at the management standard.
• Ability to investigate complaints of criminal activity, employee misconduct or other incidents and apply critical thinking skills to resolve, stop or deter illegal or unwanted behavior in the workplace.
• Work with local law enforcement and build professional relationships to facilitate support and cooperation in critical situations, internal investigations, events, crimes, and emergencies.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred but not required.
