Job Description
Position Title: Sign Installer
Accountable to: Fuels Manager
Sturdevant Signs is seeking a skilled Sign Installer to join our team. You will be responsible for installing a variety of signs, including, but not limited to, outdoor and indoor signs, digital displays, and banners. Your role will involve working both independently and as part of a team to ensure that signage projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Major Areas of Accountability
- Install various types of signs according to specifications provided.
- Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and identify any potential challenges.
- Prepare work areas by ensuring proper safety measures are in place and coordinating with other contractors or stakeholders as needed.
- Utilize hand and power tools to assemble and install signs securely and accurately.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment both on-site and in the workshop.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
Education / Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in sign installation or a related field required.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to various job sites as required.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Pay : $24.00 - $27.00 per hour based upon experience
Schedule : 8-hour shift
Work Location : Albany, NY
