JOB OVERVIEW:

As the Spa Manager, you will direct and organize the overall operations of the spa to maximize profits through exemplary customer service and customer satisfaction. As a steward of the organization, our ideal Spa Manager will understand the necessity of collaboration and guide the staff to operate with peak efficiency through coordination, communication, and cooperation; ensuring seamless daily functioning. As a Spa Manager, your responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, managing schedules and staff related issues, and tending to the needs of guests.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Service and Relations:

• Build and maintain strong guest relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Maintain a high level of customer service through exceptional communication skills and addressing and resolving customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Beatification is an integral part of Watershed brand, Spa Manager must ensure a clean and inviting atmosphere for all clients and guests.

Business and Financial Management:

• Perform data analysis that drives business decisions and success, informing leadership of findings and trends.
• Track retail and membership, while also creating a strategy to increase sales.
• Set goals for all sales in collaboration with Visionary and Integrator.
• Oversee inventory management of all Watershed products.

Staff Training and Development:

• Hire, train, supervise, develop, and mentor all team members according to Watershed policies and procedures.
• Manage in collaboration with Integrator staffing for front and back of house.
• Schedule, plan, and direct the daily needs of the operation.
• Promote a continuous learning environment within the spa.
• Other duties as assigned.

Health, Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all Watershed policies and procedures in addition to the local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe spa environment for both staff and guests.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Previous management experience, preferred.
• Previous marketing experience, a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and redirect to ensure best experience for clients and employees.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Independent problem solving and decision making skills.
• Sales and financial experience, preferred.
• Discretion with confidential information.
• Guest experience oriented.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Able to work on-site for all shifts.
• Prioritizes safety and insists that team members follow safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
• Weekend hours required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds safely
• Work on your feet for up to 8 hours a shift
• Ability to sit and/or stand for up to 8 hours per day
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb ladder, etc. in an 8 hour day
