Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time position is for an Elementary Special Education Teacher serving students in grades K-5 with mostly mild disabilities. The role involves providing both push-in and pull-out services to support individualized student needs in an elementary school setting. The contract is for the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with mild disabilities
  • Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in both inclusive (push-in) and separate (pull-out) settings
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to support student learning and accommodations
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with educational standards and regulations
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student goals and progress

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-5)
  • Ability to effectively provide push-in and pull-out services
  • Strong knowledge of instructional strategies and interventions for mild disabilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
