Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contracted Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available to support K-12 students across multiple school settings. This role involves providing speech-language services under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, helping students improve their communication skills and achieve educational goals.

Location: Cambridge, MD
Worksites: Elementary and middle school environments within the district
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Duration: Current school year, ending June 10, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to students requiring speech and language support
  • Implement individualized treatment plans based on established goals
  • Conduct speech and language screenings and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and therapists to support student development
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active Maryland License as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Experience working in school settings with K-12 populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of speech and language development and disorders
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a school environment
