Work location : Fort Worth, TX (Mostly remote work however the Client may want the candidate to be present in office few times a month so local candidates would be highly preferred. We will accept non-local candidates only if we are not able to find anyone local and if they are willing to relocate without requiring expenses)
Rate : bill rate amt-bill rate amt/hour would be ideal, however we can go a little over for strong candidates.
Note : This position is for candidates with expertise in Okta Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) / Customer Identity Solutions (CIS) and not Workforce Identity and Access Management (WIAM).
This would be an customer facing individual contributor role. We need technology experts who won't require handholding to excel in this job. Look for candidates having Okta certifications such as Okta Certified Administrator, Okta Certified Developer, or Okta Certified Consultant
Inputs from the customer:
1. Consultant should have Hands on experience on Okta CIS (CIAM) tenant.
2. Consultant should be well-versed with application onboarding (OIDC/SAML) with self registration capabilities.
3. Hands on knowledge on Okta Hooks and Workflows.
4. Hands on knowledge on Okta Customization(custom branding, email templates, Sign-in Widgets).
5. Okta fundamental knowledge around Multifactors, various policies, Org to Org capabilities etc.
6. Experience on leading a technical team.
7. Customer focused with strong communication skills to handle business application teams.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Sr-Level Okta IAM Developer & Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Okta Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions to support our organization's IAM initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and architects, to identify requirements, design, develop and implement solutions, and provide ongoing support.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop Okta IAM solutions to support our organization's CIAM initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and architects, to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
Implement and configure Okta features such as SSO, MFA, Lifecycle Management, and Authorization.
Develop and maintain custom integrations with third-party applications using Okta APIs and SDKs.
Conduct testing and validation of Okta IAM solutions to ensure they meet the required standards and requirements.
Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and user manuals.
Provide ongoing support for Okta IAM solutions and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to Okta IAM and CIAM.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5-7 years of experience in developing and implementing Okta IAM solutions for CIAM initiatives.
Experience with Okta features such as SSO, MFA, Lifecycle Management, and Authorization.
Strong development skills in languages such as Java, Python, or .NET.
Experience with REST APIs, SDKs, and web services.
Familiarity with Identity and Access Management concepts, including authentication, authorization, and user management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Okta certifications such as Okta Certified Administrator, Okta Certified Developer, or Okta Certified Consultant is a plus.
