Job Description

The registered nurse practices independently within a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.

• They make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to care team members to optimize patient care.

• The nurse meets competency expectations, utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—while addressing patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.

• They administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitor for side effects, and document patient information thoroughly.

• The role includes assessing learning needs and educating patients and families about care and resources.

• Key requirements include a BSN (preferred), at least 1 year of related experience, BLS certification, and an active RN license in the state or via compact licensure. The position is full-time, night shift, 7 pm-7 am.]]>
