Looking for a self-motivated and experienced Customs Broker Clerk to process entries, SEDs, and any other kind of CBP process needed by our clients. Preferred knowledge of the ABI system and must-have attitude to grow professionally. Must be experienced in inbounds on Ocean, Air, and Land freight, Haz-Mat, Invoicing, ISFs, Warehouse Entries, bills of lading, and all documents related to processing imports/exports through U.S. Customs.

Responsibilities include:

• Secure all necessary information/documentation from the client
• Input data correctly with a great level of detail into ACESuite for CBP approval
• Ensure that a great level of detail and care is given to each of our client's shipments
• Calculate accurate duties according to HTS classifications
• Constantly communicate with the traffic supervisor throughout the whole import/export process and communicate any issues
• Problem solve and use critical thinking skills on a constant basis
• Handle shipments coming abroad and make sure incoming goods comply with Customs and Border Protection and other Government Agencies Regulations
• Categorizing shipments by the tariff coding systems
• Have international trade knowledge, accuracy, fast thinking, teamwork, and detail orientation
• Operate various vehicles for storage or removal of materials
• Prepare products and materials for shipment
• Load, unload, and stage products and materials
• Transport raw material around the warehouse
• Track and record units of materials handled
• Report quality deficiencies and/or determine the need for repair
• Identification of damages to materials
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Assist in keeping a safe working environment
• Practice and participate in the upkeep and cleanliness of the warehouse and office

Must have knowledge of:

• ACESuite
• Microsoft Word, Excel
• 3461, 7501, 7512, AES & ISF
• 19 Code of Federal Regulations
• Knowledge in the entry of BOL information
• Inventory and merchandise control
• Labeling experience

The candidate must pass a background check and drug test.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required

At least 3 years of experience working with a Customs Broker.

Valid certification to operate forklifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 to $19.00 per hour
