Fair Logistics was founded in 2007 and started in Birmingham, Alabama with a focus in medical device logistics. This focus allowed us to learn the medical device supply chain to the extent our goal quickly became to be an indistinguishable extension of our clients. As we grew our footprint and expanded further in the healthcare industry, it became evident that we could provide our services to more than just medical device distributors and we quickly grew into the medical delivery field specializing in Orthopedics and surgical kits. This organic growth has created a strong base for our company to provide consistent , reliable , and cost-effective delivery solutions to our clients across the country.

POSITION SUMMARY

In this position, you will be cleaning, maintaining and inspecting surgical supply kits for delivery to area clinics and hospitals; tools; equipment; and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will be responsible for implementing and supporting Quality initiatives. You will be responsible for maintaining account records to include signing, reporting, and filing/scanning documents. You will be responsible for conferring with distribution, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace deliveries. You will be responsible for keeping records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment, inventory for expiration dates, etc. You will be responsible for scanning BIO inventory in and out, and other duties as needed.

This is a full-time INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR (1099) position. You must be very attentive to detail as it is important that the kits are correct for surgery.

SHIFT DAYS & TIMES

Monday-Friday | 2:00p to11:00p (or until job is complete) | * No Weekends *

PAY STRUCTURE

Weekly payouts from $800 to $1200 based on a 40-hour work week. Paid training 1 to 2 weeks (depending on desire to learn) with client's team. As this is an Independent Contractor position, overtime is paid out as the regular pay rate.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must live in Baltimore, MD or a surrounding area.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a fully functioning smartphone.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must maintain professionalism in all settings and keep a clean appearance.
• Must be on time and dependable.
• Must be a critical thinker and attentive to details.
• Must be self-motivated and a self-starter.
• Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• If hired, a background check is required .
