Job Summary:
At Comfort Squad Homecare Agency, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care that allows our clients to live safely and comfortably in their homes. As a Home Caregiver, you will deliver personalized assistance and support to clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met while promoting their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care Assistance:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Provide mobility assistance, including help with walking, transferring, and repositioning.
  • Medication and Health Monitoring:
  • Remind clients to take prescribed medications at appropriate times.
  • Monitor and report any changes in health or behavior to the care manager or healthcare professional.
  • Household Support:
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals based on dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Companionship:
  • Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to reduce feelings of isolation.
  • Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social outings as needed.
  • Documentation and Communication:
  • Accurately document care provided and report any concerns or incidents promptly.
  • Maintain open communication with the care team and family members to ensure continuity of care.
  • Adherence to Policies:
  • Follow all Comfort Squad Homecare policies, procedures, and care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, hazard-free environment.
Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required
  • Experience: Prior experience in caregiving, homecare, or a related field is preferred but not required; training may be provided for the right candidate.
  • Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of others.
  • Ability to follow care plans and adapt to clients' individual needs.
  • Requirements:
  • Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
