Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Service Plumber/Boiler Service Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing and repairing plumbing systems and servicing various types of boilers for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience, a commitment to quality workmanship, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Inspect and service gas, steam, and hydronic boilers.
• Troubleshoot issues related to piping, valves, pumps, and thermostats.
• Ensure all work meets local plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in plumbing and boiler service.
• Valid plumbing license or the ability to obtain one.
• Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with hydronic and radiant heating systems.
• HVAC certification or related experience.
• Backflow prevention certification.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Comfortable working in various environments including crawl spaces, roofs, and attics.
